About me
I’m a pen and watercolour artist based in Victoria, BC, originally from Nairobi, Kenya. For the past 22 years, I’ve called this beautiful coastal city home, and it’s here that I’ve found endless inspiration in the heritage homes, lush plant life, and diverse wildlife of British Columbia.
My artwork reflects two themes close to my heart: the charming character of Victoria’s historic houses and the delicate beauty of the birds, fish, and flora native to this region. Each piece is a quiet celebration of place—an attempt to capture the soul of the West Coast, one brushstroke at a time.
Though I’m a self-taught artist, creativity has always been a part of my life. When I’m not painting, I work as a registered nurse, and I find that both art and nursing are rooted in careful observation and a deep appreciation for the details that make each moment—or each person—unique.
Through my work, I hope to share the quiet wonder of everyday beauty and inspire a closer look at the world around us.
